Welcome back mid morning Austin I'm your host Lindsay -- and we've got an expert this morning. I'm Obama care he's mr. mark dishing from San Antonio area. We're going to be talking about what you should note here 65 and under but I have to say a moment. We just had a really amazing last week we had the gluten summit. That was spearheaded by doctor Tom O'Brien 29 leaders came together on the Internet. They came on for free. We heard doctor David Perlmutter neurologist from Tampa we heard doctor Davis a cardiologist who wrote the book the wheat belly. We heard the godfather of the paley -- -- from the University of Wisconsin and they were incredible they gave puree use science. That's exploding this in last year. Saying this is what these guys said just subway we used to look -- cigarettes where everyone thought it was safe and now everyone knows cigarettes point. They're dangerous. Just met. Mind. Frame change. They're saying 1015 years from now. We're gonna look at cranes like that. Greens are gonna become the new cigarettes they were claiming that green and carb consumption in the car -- that we all -- Americans. Is that the root of much of -- illness diabetes. Obesity. Heart disease so you can go online and Google right now which is why -- needed to bring it up. Gluten GL UT -- summit. And you can purchase these incredible lectures they were for free the entire week and I don't know of any of them are still available for free. But it was an incredible week and it was a paradigm shift change share. Well welcome to the show mr. mark to stand our expert on Obama care thank you for coming on today. Good morning -- it's a pleasure to be here let's talk about a volunteer and more importantly what should look at failing member. Right now for health insurance yeah our deadline to which we do and that seems to beat the 24 million dollar question or thought that it -- -- court. OK go for an how you know the twenty work. Million dollar question. And you know it it. -- -- I think that helped insurance agent helps a culture dot com or 24 years and what I started in this business there were 600 in 24 churches. Companies selling health insurance and taxes -- now down to text. And now the government is mandating that we have what's called all fight -- Meaning that they want to have an essential health benefits. Really -- Dutch -- there saying that all that you planned. In 2014. I have to have additional things that are current major medical or individual major articles don't have. They have to have maternity. They have to -- chemical dependency. Mental health care and he the end guaranteed issue. These are all great Adam Opel very noble things. But most people are getting sticker shock right now out there they can't believe your eyes with her cookie -- that the government site. And how expensive these plans are helped into the becoming. So the real deadline and what we wanna do right now Champlain it's really take stock of where you're at health insurance clients. Because right now we have the last chance to purchase. -- Obama care plan. Which will carry it out to 2015 at least. And we can get rates that are on average 83% lower than what are gonna beat New Year's Day. Oh my goodness this is why we have this Saturday so what do people do. What do people do. Well the most important thing if they're purchasing your -- coverage or pay a significant amount even -- employer cockroach. Now it's time to go to web site like mine into the -- number to a rose six point 67 ipodder dot com. They can put their information and and they can quote the existing plants right now and see how that it would. We've -- vs what they're currently doing. If they're not insured now as the perfect time to get yourself some coverage. Before it mandated before the government starts to get big picture your -- returns. With a 122 and a half percent penalty and saying inspecting old and telling your bad boy go to church. Because later what we try to purchases insurance it'll be significantly higher. So you're saying if people are not -- there's a penalty at the moment for that. Right if you're not insured. Of effort is starting January 1 and 2014. You're gonna be -- 1% of your income or 95 dollars a person whichever is greater -- eight dollars scrambling. Well what percent of your income would ever greater. And that will increase the following year to 2% in the next June 2 and a half percent. Wait wait you're gonna -- that's going to be the cost of your insurance policy eerie being taxed on top of the cost of what you put. So if you don't have a qualified health plan you will be -- 1%. Then 2%. Then to -- -- percent of your income as CP guilty. And that is still have insurance so they're telling you buy insurance or we're gonna come after your Wallace. Why how -- people. So most people don't know this this is why this is really good that the whiteman family practice supports this kind of shows so we can get this information out to you so. Thought you say there's only six insurance companies now what do you mean by right at it as you -- are certain signs everywhere was that means. Well there's all kinds of people that sell insurance just as we do but there's really only six major carriers Cilic in the state of Texas go. Blue signature -- that it helped here -- assure itself. And go to the big companies that are marketing. Comprehensive major medical to individuals and families. So but these carriers are not in all geographic areas but they're pretty much go cover all taxes you'd need to seek out a a licensed agents searched myself. And really look at your options. Right now your help people to give an example from my fight global straight so it. I'm 48. My wife is 43 we have two lovely children. The fact purchased the planet right now with the 5000 dollar deductible. 7000 dollar out of pocket. I would be roughly 414. Dollars a month quiet but -- -- -- can't wait to New Year's Day. Yet by any player of all the exchange meeting without a government subsidies. -- similar out of pot it would be a broad plan it will be 789. Dollars. -- 83% higher. -- without a government subsidy. So if you're somebody that's not -- gay. Poverty level. Right so let's talk about government subsidies because. By public cares so little funny years ago -- Gupta last year President Obama called -- to play at a public here. Electronic Affordable Care Act. But -- China changing his tune a little bit because even with these subsidies the church can still be very very expensive. Fumble that you may hear the apology in the news this is that the government web site don't work. There's no way -- an agent or an individual to go all right well. It can successfully complete. It will -- -- -- -- what you're trying to do you are blind insurgent kind of the -- audit. They go to public security and make sure your real American are here legally. That gets -- still owed the IRS really ravaged your bank account in you're in your last year's tax return. They're supposed to spit out by the approval saying gee our culture between -- harder than 400% of poverty. So let's go to number of that the league pitcher's single. And you make between 111490. Dollars. And 45960. Dollars the government is willing. -- help you buy them premiums through the exchange. If you're -- a -- between 23450. Dollars and 94000. -- you're just say -- -- -- -- in the middle class is solid middle class. The government -- -- will help you pay your premiums. They just didn't tell you that the greens are going to be double and that really helped capture as much. So. I don't I I thought I. -- just say if the government does 'cause I heard somebody else the patients say to me. I'm gonna be on the plan where the government subsidized subsidizes some of the money and so they were happy about it. And I said wait a second I heard -- because I knew that the guy made some. Basically middle class -- money. I heard you say that if the government does subsidize. Some of your health care. That then you have much less freedom in your decisions and lose out quite a bit so can you explain that. Sure number one thing about a subsidy part of that we caught on -- -- the exchange getting it subsidies called -- exchange. These plans. Are different its followers who you can see the actual network is much smaller. I didn't. Our last choices that the government helps you out with the money. Dramatically. Now bucket -- say the company in particular the company -- And in Texas. Has 318. Pediatricians in the city its editorial that accept their planned their PP -- The majority of these plans on the exchange are no HMO based. That means you're going through a primary care physician -- public guardian Eric gatekeeper. That could refer you out the majority of these plants have a little out of network coverage certainly you have to go to your primary care doctor. What I look at these lists. Incident -- -- 318. Pediatricians aren't they felt the best right now for 2013. We look at -- subsidy list. Obviously it was like 52 pediatricians are just sixteen per cent of the network. So you only got 16% of your choices if you decided to get a little bit of monetary help. From Uncle Sam. The rights figure courses are dramatically. Dramatically cut out and. So there's nothing that's for free if you get some support you due going to be you're. You're health care dollar doesn't go as far as -- to really take. A look at making the right decisions on how debate. She used the right plan to go on at this time if they know they they only have about six weeks left it to do before the end of the year. Well they come to a website like -- the first thing it'll do its it will figure what perceptible where it's so little show that here's Richard estimated treat him as. If you work take its subsidy router you have -- at all. It will -- -- your back previewed the deficit could be forced to fight your family. It will then allow them to come to look at he amateur be just our little girl or else. Maybe it's disabled out of money your little lesser little more which you have the freedom in the big network the freedom to maintain that important relationship -- -- laughter. And I really Perth I like freedom in choosing who I wanna go to with health care because there's good and there's bad. In everything and neurosurgeon and even a garbage man and I want you think about it whoever I want. You know you. Is that an -- that everybody walks in the same brochures door at some people -- the water so people can wreck or maybe try to figure McGrady -- you are -- you know. So you're edit it kept rates that we want to hear more this is such important information but just hold on reading your break from our sponsors and will be. Right back Austin this question is for both men and women. If you suffer from weight gain reduced muscle mass decreased energy mood swings or -- sex drive. If yes it's time to talk to -- family practice they can provide a physician managed file identical hormone replacement program to alleviate these symptoms. -- family practices uses treatment for more than fifteen years -- thousands of other patients like you regain their vitality. Learn more online today -- family practice dot com and listen to them during -- family practice helped talks Sunday mornings eleven. Welcome back Austin I'm your host Lindsay -- and we've got a really important show for you. We've got a guest on the show dot it was increased to -- of -- Second. Factor now now but then he opened or if the doctor at health insurance this is mr. marked as saying he is the doctor -- health insurance. And he is out of San Antonio but I heard him speak and I was really impressed by what he knows and he's gonna talk to list. About -- time sensitive options about what you should do the shows if you are 65 and under. What you should do with Obama's health care now so please take it away mark. So -- most important state politics aside as we have to do best for family. Going forward are fairly budget our wallets. So anybody who has. Insurance right now what you make sure what your radius all the way up to 2050 infrastructure. Group plans to go put -- this January. Find out now been called me that -- -- no 69670. -- -- or go to web site which is the same number two though. 696. That -- under dot com. In your information and we'll contact you you'll run an instant quote it will show you shut treaty would be if you what the subsidy route. That's the government. Contribute to your monthly payment okay -- that's -- -- -- yeah and that but the real bottleneck is because that's that's the thing is not working a lot and it's working a paper or slow. But if you but it if you are. In a situation where you'd get a higher amount of subsidies and the freedom of treating her doctors not too important to screeched that get in the doctor at all. Well it will help you it will put you at what it looked like -- because that's appropriate for you. Other people who are maybe a little more fortunate economically. Would want it shoes they're they're they're doctors and maintain their freedom of choice. We need to act quickly get a plan and the effective in 2013. So that way you can lock in those low rates to. If you get your choices done in 2013. Austin if you get your choice is done now. You have locked in at a lower rate if you wait to 2014. Your rate can go up by 88%. So this important information so listen up and share the show and tweet about it okay. So that the people that should do what we -- metallic planned to play at that 24 cheap effective date. Generally are people that have a high utilization. I had a lady eating it's double what kept up literally shoot a blatant deceit that -- MS. We got to record of what it was that -- a -- like that are a lot bigger. Crazy these people that have a high utilization. Can have a lot of prescription medications that are very expensive. The well being together we can help you look plans are guaranteed issue. And -- may -- -- -- court stepped over a lot more expensive. But it may be less expensive that UK based out of pocket cost. So what women like -- paying. But what -- -- her monthly cost is the rule Villa at. The -- of sub it's really easy it's about a hundred dollars per decade it has a child there at the hundred range. -- -- its drug 200 actually -- -- -- -- 334450. To 56600. Dollars a month. But if you're facing breast cancer. 600 -- about the market. Yes it is casino I'm a daughter of a woman. Wood who was given a heavy drug when she was pregnant with me I had all these issues and I'm an individual I work for myself and I've been paying much higher rates met over the last so many years. I never thought I would -- sixty. At six. So let's hope my it's a right. -- -- what you that's next week show about Medicare there's -- you know things that we need to be aware of Medicare but if we traditional Medicare at least that -- -- of votes with a public here has done. It's hard that they their budgets in the future but right now I can the facade about. Just give me a call or get with a knowledgeable agents like myself that can really outline your options because. This is serious stuff it's big money you know if you get one of these plans now there's even a -- but Bill Clinton diet -- side which. Are politically to the left but the eighty per cent and we ought to create a new law that since you get to keep that you have now that that's the case. He really don't last chance he. You get a pre Obama care plan that would have -- you know get that filtered restored a lot lower pricing so I can't emphasize enough how important this. We have you know next. All week whoever's Thanksgiving and then Christmas and build -- sober so. Right that's why we're having this show we're gonna have another show on only punted out because once I heard about. All of these times sensitive deadlines and what you had to say -- -- -- boy we have to let our listeners hear about this and we're gonna put it on the -- site we're gonna put it on my own site. You can click on the radio -- -- 24/7 you can listen to the show. You can send it to your friends you can go to the link for thirteen seventy talk radio because this is important information. -- is that what else do we need to know mark. Well what other thing is -- -- -- -- people out there -- that have coverage through their work -- covered lot at work well Lester who she works but what are you children. -- are all on the of their group planned and that puts them into what's called here to work at my category. We now have -- alone a child coverage available. We're under -- -- previously we were able to sell a major medical but as of January 1 we are still a few. Trapped into a high cost -- -- might not -- 400 dollars to carry you don't want trials. We can cover that well just two year old or something not a very nice plans work harder to thirty or fifty dollars. Boy you know I was just step. I was telling a neighbor of mine who's a lawyer about the showed she said -- I'm on. The plan you know with my company a season of did law firm that she told me the prices for her kiss and it was much higher so you're saying. What you can do now even if you think you have all your insurance covered it work. It might be that you can get your kids covered for less. Well. People typically pay their dependent coverage you know that employer -- is deeply merger could partner that -- that coverages all girl Beckel. And I really encourage you to shop -- your deductibles start October January this is no political -- that most people big company. So get into the the web site to about 0696. 900. Dot com and you could get some of -- get information 21 day. I have videos I have even a block the top for a quarter of the future so this could -- But by all means you know it just it would be crude futures to get from it can help you make the proper choices. And do what's right because there's a lot of also theater that a lot of moving parts right now. You wouldn't go -- for a city without toward -- or at least a -- travel book you know get the help that you need self from an agent that it has a lot of experience to help. Now how to how does somebody know. That they're working with an agent. It has the right facts and -- with -- doing there's a lot of agents out there and you know there's good and bad we're just talking about this a few moments ago of anything kind of cut people. Identify who could really help. Reiter -- you have to Texas to property insurance they have a web site. PDI dot state dot TX dot US and he could do agent lookup. Just type in their decade it you know can expect to bow out and so church for years it looked like at the TD just got to go six months ago. But you know that you know he's a little wet behind the ears -- you can look. Bet they get the credibility of agent's life on the line as though they've been quite. And even quick got a little box -- disappointment. And that shows you the companies that they are licensed to perception and how long did what that company. What's website again -- and -- can. PDI TGI. Dot state dot staged. But QX dot TX attacks in the US -- when you go there. You can check agents -- looked up they just come on the bottom right quarter. Everything you could look up credibility as far as if it's a licensed agent if they don't like are -- that likes. And scooter actually legal and so will dedicated acute indications. Of a -- a bit of business and what what -- -- -- Do you think discuss someone's been in business -- kinda makes him a good agent. Is that what you say well. Typically so it stayed in business alone tied to date wouldn't -- -- -- their life. Our picture not actively practicing an active and back in the white exterior they'll kick you off. So you're not. And then they have -- -- next -- you've been able re quite cheap to quit a bit what you have no point Richard likes to go inactive. So at least that need to -- are active in the industry. And so that -- it's a good starting point it's not a guaranteed there's no guarantee like a Betty that the that it could start. Let's say we got a family we got a really healthy husband. And we've got a mom that's had a bunch of issues and she's about facing. Peri menopause and worried she's gonna hit some more issues. And they've got two or three kids and one of them is ilk seem got a mix match of some healthy in some unwell but you recommend to them. That happens all the time right now what I would do. It's I would look at really split against you policies. I would take all the help these people are people that without the pre existing condition. And take advantage of this dramatically lower rates on the 2013 play out. And that I would put the evil people the high utilization. Aren't sure these -- cheating issue. The Pallet plants. Her -- Why -- to spell out what it. Olympic medals the gold silver. Well we called metallic and that that because the government kind of -- -- -- animals approached -- attack. -- Silver gold flap the ice -- So what do these metallic play at -- you have the -- cheating issue. And most of these plants that need to be careful -- not -- miniature model but. Get sick with a good agent keep what they -- -- the right Doctor Who does not just a metallic player but he could also go to where you want a -- to utilize. But these metallic play against you not heavily pre existing. So. You're going to basically be able to get. Coverage for whatever condition to have right away. And that the culture built is probably higher -- the cost of these premiums. So that brings up another thing the government supporting. Her to do with that three are at risk quarter get a little deep. The government basically is trying to give -- the insurance company a little bit of the boost of -- -- years to help stabilize the market. If this trend continues in a lot of young people don't sign up at the failure of they -- it has it's going. We might find the real secure system in this country. Where we have you know there's help CP port one risk pool at the recently got great of this other risk or the church issue. They have the death spiral there's been a lot of talk about that so getting a little deeper look at -- at this point. But it's Rick you know right now you -- to take advantage of that your -- issue. I think over the long run that should be significant problems rehabilitation this law if the -- -- tributes. So. He has informed us that if you're under 65 in your relatively healthy you really wanna sign up for obamacare before the end of the year because you're gonna save. A lot of money you're gonna have. Hundreds of dollars left each month to go by. Whatever you wanna buy that TV go on a trip to save up your money and you'll pay more money you'll just be spending an out if you don't sign up till 2014. And you need to figure out which -- the white pro right. The white not quite the right there right. Like if I don't have the right insurance for my oral plan here. And you really need to take a look at this now and we're going to be talking in part to. Really what is obamacare and what are the differences are going to be talking and focusing on Medicare. And people over 65 that this information now has been for you under 65. And of course this is a young. Town so this encompasses a lot of Austin -- any other words of wisdom that you wanna say to our listeners here in Austin of course. Our show does go out even -- area. Right where he got on base and here we got about one more minute what might you summarize mark. Think he could get that traditional major medical not destroy Obama care for the exchange but they need to get the traditional major medical. Screwed ensured an agency like herself now. So that they can avoid being forced to bite at a public care plan in January which is gonna be significantly more to. Particularly young healthy people like he would have Alltel lake. It is gracious you know you can get -- up under 200 dollars to -- under a hundred dollar jump on it now and -- dollars. If they wait to January give that to be 200 horse brought. So if you value your wallets. That traditional major medical help come visit our web site or or call. She -- 0696700. Or dot com and we'll help get out. This show is on in all about. Avoiding a wallet back to me. And why. I avoid that procedure. I'm your host Lindsey -- -- we have on today.
