Welcome to -- family practice till dawn. Boston -- integrated health news and total wellness hosted by doctor Lindsay -- and internationally acclaimed expert in the health sciences medical nutrition. And up -- all the. Good mid morning on skin and I'm your host Lindsey -- -- and I just in the hall way. Saw Megan who works here at the studio and she's just about ready to birth she had her very first contraction and she looks beautiful with this bulging belly. And I went up the nice -- and put my belly. Next to her belly so we -- belly to -- sold us also we wished. -- Who looks like she's about to berth in the next few days a wonderful birth that the new addition. To the talk radio families so. He's safe Megan were all thinking about UN boy you know there's a lot of great things. Going on in Austin. -- -- If you love to dance. Which of course I love to dance you've been listening to me now almost two years on the radio and you understand that that's one of my passions. One of my vitamin piece. Tonight you can dance on a rooftop. Under the stars. At this speed easy at 412 congress avenue to lose that and Campbell Miller are coming together for what they call. Synergy if you like to dance the blues. Newton and I loved to dance the blues and if you like to dance West Coast swing they are emerged morphine and merging. The blues in West Coast swing and maybe if -- even don't know how to dance. The blues in West Coast swing the golf on over there and be on top of the roof and just. There's two big. Dancing is really phenomenal because she'd get to move to music had a long talk. With a patient day about it in a study just came out. Posted October 16. About how when you find a sport. That you really love to do. Recreational exercise. Can significantly. Lower your blood pressure which like to do that rather than take the blood pressure pill. You know a lot of times a personal have elevated blood pressure. Because they're in -- situationally stressed out period of their life or -- A it's around Christmas time and they put on that. Average of ten pounds and just a few -- pounds and not an exercise. Can make your blood pressure go up and if you happen to be having your physical or something else brings you into a doctor's office at that time. And they discover that your blood pressure's. Higher even borderline hide and you get. A diagnosis that follows you for years and you get put on Mets and you wouldn't even know. Whether if he did some recreational exercise -- lost a few pounds. Would go back to normal. This true Syria. Hypertension. Is blood pressure that stays sustained. Elevated and that's the deal but we'll have a times people have periods for a few years where it's just going up. Because of not enough exercise. A bit too much stress I had one patient chooses CPA has been working -- little -- TDs off because it. He's an -- its going public in his blood pressure's really been soaring and all he did was get a trainer and start to work out for 23 weeks he hasn't even lost any weight yet. And his blood pressure is already down to normal so this was a study out of the university of public health in. China and they found. That people who exercise for one to three hours that's not just 13. Hours each week during their leisure time were calling this. Recreational exercise. Get this -- on an 11% lower risk of developing high blood pressure than people who exercised for less than an hour. And while the risk of developing high blood pressure. Dropped almost 20%. In those who exercised for. Hours or more each week so you know hypertension is not a good thing it's a risk factor for nasty for stroke. Or kidney disease or heart disease he got to prevent and control your high blood pressure but how many of us. Are on high blood pressure -- really because the way to reliving it just doesn't make. The inside of our blood vessels healthy and relaxed as can be and then were put on these imagines Mets make you feel really tired in -- And often you get so exhausted in lethargic by being. On the high blood pressure mats that are camping down your blood pressure that you feel even less like exercising. I love this time that we have at my gym pure Austin where they say some people's favorite form of exercise is running. Late. Don't let that happen to you well I gotta tell you really where I'd -- end. I know that some of velocity the nurse practitioner the marvelous and professional nurse practitioner. At the -- clinic took over the show last week. Because I was out of Howland. I had the absolute unique. Honor. Of going to a forty hour continuing medical education course from a neurosurgeon that I got to tell you about this guy because you are going to be. Completely inspired. This gentleman. Is 86 years old teaching this forty hour course and he'd look. Radiated health. And shiny newness and energy. Like somebody almost 46 yourself. His name is doctor Norman cheaply he was restrained as a neurosurgeon that he went on to become a psychologist I gotta tell you a little bit about what we learned. Because it is so fascinating and it holds not it's in curls for you to keep yourself and your family healthier and it's. Always such an honor an inspiration. To seat people who are the new old. You know you love to get old you really wouldn't love to get old yes. You don't look can feel old that it's a deal. So he. Had. All kinds of -- to tell us how did you like him stay so well but what the course was about. Was his personal story. So when many years ago he was in his surgical residency. His father. Got and -- just severe nerve pain from Bell's palsy of the face. The pain was so horrific that his father was no longer able to work. Well in nature -- in 1919 had actually invented the very first machine. That acted to stop pain which was called the something like the -- with seat. And a chiropractor was working with that was friends with -- she -- father who now with in this racking. Pain. So chiropractor said to him why don't you try this electrical unit. And he attached electrodes to his space. It's -- why don't you see it this will get rid of the pain. And in 24 hours after having a few treatments of twenty minutes apiece. After having racking pain. Four months. -- she Lee's father suddenly had no more pain at all will -- that time -- she leaves I said within a surgical residency in what he was learning about. With severe chronic pain he's a neurosurgeon people who deal with patients who are in serious pain. And he said all that was available at that time for people who had serious chronic pain was very invasive surgery. He said the surgery would only be helpful for 10% of people. Another 10% of people were worse off than they never could have a normal life after that there was such a severe. Adverse nasty complication right from that surgery. And the rest the other 80%. Didn't get any benefit from going from that invasive surgery at all. So here he was learning to be a surgeon to deal with pain and he realized. Debt. Custom that customary and usual procedure at the time to deal with pain. With not only ineffective to the most of patients. For its dangerous. To a significant number 10% of patients. So when he saw that his father. Responded. I having his pain go into remission by an electrical machine that is chiropractor gave meta nature -- invented that was not in use. It was the proverbial light -- pulled above his head. And so then he began to look into electro physiology changing body biochemistry chemistry of pain. By changing the physiology. And he true electro physiology. And his career it then became he took that one unit. And he built upon that unit and created the very first tens unit most of you've heard. A detention unit well doctor she -- created the first and Janet. So at this university I went out to the small town called fair grove Missouri. And ES 300 acres of farmland. Where he's in essence built campus. With these beautiful campus buildings where there's no nails it's all done with beautiful craftsmanship with. On pieces of wood in stained glass and all kinds of symbols of learning and spirituality. All throughout the -- -- the very first unit. But the nature -- had made in 1990 -- had his first tens unit and he at all the other units that have been used -- -- so many past two years. And he said. That what we were doing for the very first time was using electro physiology. To trying to heal the body. To trying to create cell rejuvenation. And this has taken him in his career down many fascinating. -- because he now feels. That chronic medicine were people either have chronic pain or fatigue or illness except Iraq the way to really help them get well. Is to get at the root cause of their disease which is dysfunction at the basis of the cell and he feels that it has to do basically. With how the DNA vibrates. And he did this once he was getting into electro physiology he went to the Ukraine. And he spent years studying. With doctors there that were using electrical machines died college is putting on electrical machines on diabetics. To heal them of diabetes cardiologist putting electrical machines. On patients to heal heart damage. After a heart attack the -- -- in sparked. And he says that the physicists in the Ukraine have come up with the exact. Exam and perfect -- perfect residents of DNA. And that's what electro physiology was doing -- human aging cells by. Introducing. An electrical. Booster that made the DNA start to resonate at a healthier level. He said no. It's obvious that the next step to do that is nutrition. And here we went to learn about its electro physiology and his history and how he is unique for career he worked at Johns Hopkins he's gotten amazing amounts of millions and millions of dollars of research grants to do double blind placebo controlled studies on each of his inventions an up his perceptions. And work it really took him. We're nowhere actually sit -- was to nutrition. Because he says that proper nutrition. Introduces into the body the co factors that allowed the DNA to resonate. At the optimal. Physiologically. Gigahertz so that you could have health so a big part of healing anything. Be it. Chronic fatigue chronic pain obesity addiction. Is getting the body to resonate -- the best optimal frequency. Doing this with whatever way you can introduce an electrical current that's -- Tracinda clothes are all about there about. Improving the electrical current -- body that's that exercise is about that's what could bring down blood pressure. Because you're reintroducing -- more optical optimal current and also reducing free radicals which destroy. Everything now this is no small deal this gentleman. He. Decided that. Proper gigahertz. DNA -- sequence was at the basis of the health so he came up with all of these really ingenious somewhat far outweighs. To figure out how to get the body to resonate better. And he has crystal rooms. I know this sounds crazy and he's gotten actresses that have crushed. On staff fires inside that's attached to different electrical machines. One more odd thing then another and yet he would get several 100000 dollar grant take two or 300 people have. -- group that we're on the machine a group that were on something like machine but not the machine for the placebo group and showed that he basically got a seventy to 80%. Remission rate after so many treatments which then let him. To create the first integrated Florida hospital. Using all of these modalities. At this hospital floor. Has been in existence for over thirty year. So -- -- Springfield at the Springfield Missouri hospital. There's a floor it has all of these different. Read litters of DNA gigahertz. Frequency. Spearheaded by doctor norm she Li MD Ph.D. And there was a nurse there the just retired who headed that floor for decades. And she said. That people would come in three times a week for two months they'd come in once a week for the next month and once a month for the next several months and it was not. An in house program and not an excessively laborious program. And their cure rate for addiction. Obesity. Fatigue. Fibromyalgia. And chronic pain. -- from seventy to 80% she told a story after story and he shared. Letter after letter from patients who'd gone through he was doing to tell you where this gentleman is that why it was such an honored to be able. To take continuing medical education credits with somebody like him and doctor block internist I work with and Tulsa gifted this week to me it was of rather expensive and he said you're gonna kick yourself from the two TDs if this -- Goes on in transitions to the next. -- the next layer of life and you didn't get to learn from him okay so he is a visionary. And he has been on he would he came up with the concept. Of pain rehabilitation. And pain management before that it was just surgery. So his career took neurology and neurosurgery down a -- mother -- which we all take for granted with pain doctors and the idea and concept. Of pain management. But because he was looking at. Righting the wrong of DNA frequency. Through electro physiology. This brought him into other ways that energy is I just said. Crystals are things that I would have thought before this week where -- out there road there. And also. He then. Went to using. Occupy and -- points with various boils. That he is designed and he's done double blind placebo controlled studies. Measuring pre and post levels of hormones measuring the level of pain measuring level of awareness measuring liver enzymes. By activating with these royals on acupressure points which he calls. The path of these points the ring of fire. And so the last few days of the course was a certification. In the ring of fire now you might be sitting there thinking. I. I don't know this seems really. Far out. But he. Has so much. Evidence based science underneath his concepts. He went on to get a Ph.D. in psychology because he thought. That not only -- with the basic nutrient. That so our thoughts and attitude. And he then decided tonight estimates and why did you do this he said because I want to affect the next. Set of generation. He then went to Missouri State University. And he offered them a hundred million dollars which he gifted them. He donated this beautiful campus that he built that I got to be present in. And he donated 300 acres of land with the caveat. That they create a new program of psychology. Which he called. The psychology of conscientious -- Which he felt is a marriage in merging of the three trip -- -- essential pillars. One being psychology. The other one being nutrition. And the other one being spirituality. So it Missouri State there is now he HD program called. Psychology of conscientious Smiths which combines all of these things he started out as a neurosurgeon. Resident's. His father had Bell's palsy and a chiropractor had this electrical machine that a nature -- that made 1990 inning gave it to his dad because they were. Buddies over at the restaurant or something. And that's how things have unfolded. And I got to be part of norms she Li MD Ph.D. to put on. The Internet they're bringing. Of fire is still in life she's a fascinating state to. I have to end. It's -- the traditional approach to medicine doesn't work for everybody that's why you need integrative medical -- offering both conventional and alternative approaches you need -- family practice their approaches -- evidence based effective and -- -- to find the best treatment for you along with a complete -- medical -- -- family practice provides special services and bio identical hormone replacement -- both -- treatment we lost their -- RG treatment and medical -- learn more -- family practice dot com and listen to them during -- family practice self talks Sunday morning at eleven. Welcome to -- -- practice till dawn Boston's -- integrated health news and total wellness posted by doctor Lindsay Burks and internationally acclaimed expert in medical sciences medical nutrition and a bestselling golf there. Welcome back Austin I'm your host Lindsay -- and -- I really urge you to -- on my website body mind hormones dot com. It's about two more than my new web site hormone healer dot com in your Monica -- want in your are wanting you are going to want to get up when. And how to reach me so sign up for free on my website body mind -- stock common you'll get the free newsletters. And you will be instructed when hormone healers come on the road. So -- just been talking about this incredible week that I had this forty -- continuing medical education course with the visionary and the renowned doctor norm -- MD Ph.D. who has a radio show himself several hours a week. And what was very interesting is at the end he came up with a new form of healing. To reboot your energy which anyone can be taught called the ring of fire which is using a special. Land of boils that he has decided work because -- his research on certain specific acupressure points and what's interesting. Is that he has done pre and post testing of certain. Hormone levels in particular the energy and DH he day. He Hydro at B Andrew steer around which is a very important Andreychuk and it gives you his zest for life is shining -- its spirit the Japanese have a word. I am cocky when you have enough DE HDA you've got shining -- -- spirit and it also acts like a mile testosterone giving us libido. And solidarity. And I'm he was wondering you know why why some people have low levels of DH EA because we're spokes to make it from our cholesterol. And -- -- may be we lose an enzyme so we stopped converting it from cholesterol so he looked at seven men. And he gave and we do make TH GA sometimes -- -- progesterone. And he gave seven -- some protest around and he followed them before and after you did blood levels of their TH EA and he found that some of the men. After being given a female hormone progesterone and had a real high boost in there mail her entry Jenna Carmen DH GA all except for two men and so he queried what was going on in the life of these two men. And it turned out that these two men were watching the evening news and not a the other men who had made adequate THE for the progesterone. Were watching the evening news so we told the meant to stop watching the evening news and their DH EA came up. So he says you know the way we think and what we're exposed to and our energy and everything that affects our energy. It all affects our ability to make our hormones. It was very interesting to me because he said. That he is no longer afraid to die because he felt that. While it really was about was living well. And the way to live well was to be as healthy as you can be and this man is 86 and he was just radiating. Used and strengthening said one of the secret -- got to have some secrets. -- one of his secrets. Was that he never eats cars ceases we don't need one milligram of carved -- just clogged down. The electrical residents of our DNA. And what he eats a lot of is animal meat which -- that organic animal meat he says you need that B twelve and -- is very high in an amino acid called -- Lorena there's also a fish mussels. Are the highest food of -- he said in in his work on the nervous system in the central nervous system. He is realised that cowering in the amino acid TA EU RI and he. Is one of the most important amino acids to jump start and get a nervous system working healthy again along with magnesium. And he. He's understood as many nutritionists have that magnesium as a squarely mineral. To keep an adequate levels deep inside the cells which we call intra cellular levels. Where an axis of co factor promised a thousand different and dramatic reactions. Met especially worked along with -- green. To keep good nervous system functioning. So what he designed was a lotion had magnesium chloride and it. That he feels bypasses. Many people's. Disability to absorb magnesium either and a supplement -- food some people get diarrhea if they take -- of people. Can't take enough that their body really needs so he's bypass the hold digested man you. And he has designed a Shealy magnesium -- that you can go on Amazon and get -- bought some and it feels really good nine. Giving a number of things that he invented. I tried because I think it's pretty amazing. And he went he has a new book coming out on nutrition he's got many books on energy medicine. Andy says it's absolutely ridiculous to take medications to tamp down symptoms. Without getting at the root cause in the root causes getting your electrical DNA. Coming and bombing and the rights and path. And that has to do with exercise diet food and certainly. Holding your hand up and saying no more chips and dip and that kind of deal. And a lot of people don't wanna hear that but the last cards that you can eat. The better off he can be an interesting thing with much of what he talks about. Is that if he had an idea for example if he had an idea that the certain -- your pathway treated with the loyalists didn't -- step. Endorphins and decreased pain -- he just went out and got a grant. Got a bunch of people and tried it and proved his point so it's certainly something to take a look at. And minerals he said he -- the nervous system -- so. So heavily on minerals if for example manganese how often we get manganese and molybdenum. He said molybdenum was just so essential along with MSM. To keep our joints and are nervous system healthy so he created a formula and I'm not get many kick back here guys I'm definitely not get in the kickback. He created a formula called the youth formula. That has. MS them. Molybdenum. Vitamin C in a few other fun little thing side but some on and giving it a try and we'll see how it goes. But I really urge you to go out and get some of his books because I was impressed. That he walked his talk and you know. I now have three incredible heroes in my life. Doctor Jonathan right. In Seattle Washington I just say for. Doctor Richard Weisman who started the -- -- practiced look at him he's a shining light these are all doctored. -- block in Tulsa Oklahoma. And doctor norm she lead norm she at least 86. Jerry block is almost 76 and amounted to doctor weissman is in his late sixties. And doctor Wright is in his mid. So late movement on -- was late seventies as sick as seventies. And all of these men. Work -- of miles to go before they sleep -- incredible energy they're out they're healing people they're vital they look. 2030 years their age they are the new old. They are getting older with all the wisdom and everything they've learned but they don't feel they don't look old and they all donate blood every 56 days. They all avoid as many cards and have identified food allergies as much as they -- the norms should be hasn't. Great protocol he says it gets rid of -- -- food allergies and try that out in the next few patients that come in and don't forget. I translate all this science. Into a clinical trenches yes she can come to -- -- make science usable and really help you. Figure out what's going on in your life in a way that a lot of other people can't just for example I was in Tulsa Oklahoma. Last week right after norm Shealy. Where I love to work with stock block for a week and we had one gentleman who was diagnosed a number of years ago with atrial fed that's it -- on a figure on the drug like war for an -- it's or Alter the rest of your life which has a lot of side effects that you got to prevent having a stroke and he he just figured this was his path in life with never gonna be the same and due to a number of things we now figured out prior -- that we had a few weeks ago. That there's a squirrelly little. The nine unusual situation. Called -- prepare tired isn't that can happen growth on your parent pirate land. And thoughts with your electrical system and makes you look like you've got a -- why you have a fit and we were able to show. That he had this little. Growth on his -- -- he got it removed and put no more a -- we have people with multiple sclerosis. That we -- given special estrogens by -- to go into their brain cross blood brain barrier. And reduce the Plaxo that they have less steam island nation it's using nutrition. And medicine merged together at such a high cutting edge level what a -- salute. -- Honor it is to work in all of these situations -- gonna leave you -- just a few more things. That are going on. In the news that you should know so you don't snooze. One last thing is there's an article that just came out has people going (%expletive) is testosterone good for the heart or not yes no yes no. Well. We know at the -- clinic that is because we see people have improvement. And their car -- functioning but -- studied just came out I hope we're sixteenth men with low testosterone levels. Are it's slightly increased risk of developing or dying from heart disease and they. European researchers looked at research from 1970. To 2013. And they saw that if -- testosterone is in the toilet. In your hearts stopped growing at the don't go in that direction so. Come on over to the -- family clinic and let -- assess your hormones and improve your health. I'm your host Lindsey -- -- Can go to my website body mind hormones dot com put your life -- Did you sign up for free on my web sites he could be alerted when it's morphing into my particular dot com. -- come on into the office and let us get your teammate. Resonating yeah I have to -- -- gigahertz. But -- plus. Just didn't.
